Preparation & Usage
This product is one use only. Helpful Hints: 1. Read instructions before starting. 2. Hard boil clean white eggs in enamel, stainless steel or glass pan. (Do not use aluminum or iron). Use eggs that are warm. Do Not use cold eggs! 3. The back panel of this box has 9 perforated discs. Punch out the discs and use as an egg drying tray. Reinforce corners of the box the with tape. 4. Use cardboard egg carton to dry extra eggs. Note: if you store colored eggs in the refrigerator the egg dyes will become wet again and may stain. Please use care. 1. Traditional Egg Coloring: 1. Pour 1 tablespoon of white vinegar into 1/2 cup warm water. Drop color tablet in and stir until dissolved. 2. Bend egg dipper handle up until it "snaps" into place. Dip egg until desired shade is obtained. The longer the egg is left in the egg color, the brighter it will get. 3. Remove egg, dry thoroughly. 2. Speckled Eggs: 1. Empty one liquid egg dye packet into each decorating tray well. 2. Dip speckling sponge into desired color, (one sponge per color), wipe excess color from sponge. 3. Dab egg with sponge until desired effect is achieved. 3. Egg Painting: 1. With pen or pencil, gently draw a design on egg. 2. Pain large areas with cotton-tipped applicators and finer details with brush. Note: To clean brush, rinse in warm water. 4. Magic Message Crayon: 1. Write secret messages or draw on a white egg before lowering egg into color bath. 5. Peel 'n' Stick Stickers: Place stickers on white or colored eggs. Note: egg must be completely dry before applying stickers. In Addition: Allow refrigerated, colored eggs to dry before handling. Condensation may cause colors to smear.
