Preparation & Usage

Make a basketful of colorful, glittery Easter eggs! Helpful Hints: 1. Read instructions before starting. 2. Hard boil clean white eggs in enamel, stainless steel or glass pan. (Do not use aluminum or iron). 3. The back panel of this box has 9 perforated discs. Punch out the discs and use as an egg drying tray. Reinforce corners of the box with tape. 4. Use cardboard egg carton to dry extra eggs. Note: If you store colored eggs in the refrigerator the egg dyes will become wet again and may stain. Please use care. 5. Use Warm eggs for best result. To Color Eggs: 1. Cover the work surface with newspaper. 2. Fill 6 cups with 5 fl. oz. of warm water. (Just enough to cover the egg.) Dissolve 1 color tablet in each cup. Note: Use a small cup - using more than 5 fl. oz. of water in a cup will dilute the color and make less colorful eggs. 3. After tablet has dissolved, add 2 tablespoon of white vinegar to each color bath. 4. Bend dipper and lower egg into cup for 5 minutes. Note: The longer the egg is left in the coloring bath, the more colorful the egg will become. 5. Set egg into drying tray to dry. Assembling Egg Stands: Lock ends as shown here. Tape for added strength, if needed. Apply Fun Gloo First: 1. Carefully hold a colored egg and squeeze a little Fun Gloo adhesive onto it. 2. Using the sponge, gently "dab" the Fun Gloo wherever you want the Glitter to stick. Apply Glitter to Eggs: 1. Assemble egg stand as shown below and place a sticky egg onto the egg stand. 2. Place egg stand with sticky egg onto a plate. 3. Before the Fun Gloo dries, apply glitter by gently squeezing the glitter tube and "puff" glitter onto the egg. 4. After all eggs are decorated, touch up as needed.
