Sweetheart French Toast

Ingredients
½ cup Bowl & Basket Whole Milk
2 Bowl & Basket Eggs
2 tsp Wholesome Pantry Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
8 slices Bowl & Basket Bread
Powdered Sugar, for topping
Maple Syrup, for topping
Raspberries
Blueberries
Directions
- Beat milk, egg, vanilla and cinnamon in a shallow baking dish until well combined.
- Gently dip a slice of bread into the egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly. Repeat with each bread slice.
- Heat a nonstick griddle or skillet on medium heat, then cook bread until browned on both sides. Repeat the process until all bread is toasted.
- Use a heart cookie cutter to cut out the center of the french toast. Fill the hole with fresh berries ( about 2 cups of assorted berries) and place the heart cutout next to the toast. Top with maple syrup and/or powdered sugar and serve!
