Ingredients
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup medium salsa
1 package (10 ounces) frozen Mexican-style street corn with Parmesan & mild red Chile
1 3/4 pounds 80% lean ground beef
1 tablespoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Nonstick cooking spray
6 hamburger buns
2 small avocados, peeled, pitted and thinly sliced
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons drained pickled jalapeños
Directions
  1. Prepare outdoor grill for direct grilling over medium-high heat. In small bowl, whisk sour cream and salsa; cover and refrigerate. Makes about 3/4 cup.
  2. Prepare corn as label directs. Makes about 1 1/2 cups street corn.
  3. In large bowl, gently mix ground beef, garlic powder, salt and pepper; do not overmix. Form beef mixture into 6 (1/2-inch-thick) patties; make shallow indentation in center of each patty and spray both sides with cooking spray. Place patties on hot grill rack; cover and cook 8 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°, turning once. During last minute of cooking, place buns, cut side down, on hot grill rack; cover and cook 1 minute or until toasted.
  4. Spread cut sides of buns with sour cream mixture; serve burgers in buns topped with street corn, avocado, jalapeños. Makes 6 burgers.
