1. Heat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Set aside.
2. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese. cheddar cheese and chives. Spoon mixture evenly into jalapeno halves.
3. Roll out crescent roll dough and pinch the seams to make one large rectangle. Cut rectangle into many long thin strips for the mummy bandages.
4. Wrap crescent dough strips around jalapeno halves and place on prepared baking sheet
5. Whisk egg with 1 tbsp of water to make an egg wash, then brush jalapeno poppers with it before baking for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
6. Remove from oven and carefully add two candy eyes or peppercorns to each “mummy” as they are cooling.
