Cook Time15 Minutes
Ingredients
¼ cup Bowl & Basket Unsalted Butter, melted
½ tsp Bowl & Basket Garlic Powder
¼ tsp Bowl & Basket Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
2 packages (approximately 24) Slider Buns
1 package Bowl & Basket Italian Frozen Meatballs
1 jar Bowl & Basket Marinara Sauce
1 8 oz. package Bowl & Basket Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
¼ cup Bowl & Basket Shredded Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
¼ cup chopped Fresh Parsley
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray. Place slider buns on the cookie sheet (do not separate!). Use a knife or a cookie cutter to cut out meatball-sized cavities in the slider buns, being sure not to cut all the way to the bottom. Discard removed bread.
  2. Combine melted butter, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl, then brush this mixture over the slider buns. Once the oven is preheated, bake the sliders for 5 minutes.
  3. While sliders are baking, heat meatballs according to package directions and add to a large bowl with marinara sauce. Stir to cover meatballs.
  4. Carefully remove slider buns from the oven. Add approximately 1 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese to the bottom of each cavity, then top with a meatball and some marinara. Repeat until all sliders are filled. Top with more mozzarella and parmesan cheese, then return to the oven and bake for another 7-8 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before topping with freshly chopped parsley and serving!
