Preparation & Usage
Servings (about 3/4 cup cooked rice): 2 - 3; Rice (dry): 1/2 cup; Water to Broth*: 1 cup; Butter or Oil: 1 1/2 tsp Servings (about 3/4 cup cooked rice): 4 - 6; Rice (dry): 1 cup; Water to Broth*: 1 3/4 cup; Butter or Oil: 1 tbsp Servings (about 3/4 cup cooked rice): 8 - 10; Rice (dry): 2 cups; Water to Broth*: 3 1/2 cup; Butter or Oil: 2 tbsp *If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 tbsp liquid & cook longer. 1. Combine rice, water, & butter (optional) in a pot & bring to a boil. 2. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low simmer & cook 45 minutes. 3. Remove from heat (with lid on) & let steam for 10 minutes. To prepare in a rice cooker, use same water-rice ratio.
