After 30 years with Wakefern, Kevin Mannix was ready to own and operate his own ShopRite stores. For this native Staten Islander, the timing couldn’t have been more “right” when two stores on the island were offered to him. Today, he owns the ShopRite of Hylan Boulevard and the ShopRite of Forest and Richmond, with a third store planned for 2012. Kevin finds it rewarding to be able to offer quality products and great prices in a customer-friendly environment to the friends and neighbors he remembers from childhood.
