Duraflame® fatwood comes from the tree stumps of non-endangered pines that continue to absorb quick-burning pitch after the trees have been felled. The concentrated, 100% natural resin ignites quickly from one match and generates an intense, sustained flame. No new trees are felled to make duraflame® fatwood and no additives have been applied to the product.
Preparation & Usage
Lighting Instructions: • Place 2 or 3 criss-crossed duraflame® fatwood sticks on fireplace grate. • Place split firewood on top of the duraflame® fatwood sticks, while leaving some room for airflow. • Light the ends of the fatwood sticks and replace fireplace screen. • Barbecue: Place 3 fatwood sticks in between coals criss-crossed in grill. Light the ends of the fatwood sticks.
