Rescue your dingy clothing from dullness without the harshness of bleach. Rit Whitener & Brightener works with your detergent to whiten your whites and brighten your colors so that you can enjoy your clothing for the long run. Can be used on all washable colorfast fabrics and with any washing machine, including high-efficiency machines.
Preparation & Usage
Please Note: Follow fabric care label. Use hottest water safe for fabric. Washing Machine Method (Top Loader): Select hottest water setting and a cycle that lasts at least 30 minutes. Start machine. Add 1/2 bottle (4 ozs.), pouring just above water level. For large and extra large loads, add 1 bottle (8 ozs.). Add detergent. When agitation begins, add unfolded fabric to washing machine. Avoid crowding. Once cycle is complete, dry as usual. Washing Machine Method (Front Loader): Select hottest water setting and a cycle that lasts at least 30 minutes. Start machine. Remove detergent cup from detergent tray. Pour 1/2 bottle (4 ozs.) and detergent into the dispenser. For large and extra large loads, pour 1 bottle (8 ozs.) and detergent into the dispenser. Flush thoroughly with 4 cups of hot tap water. Once cycle is complete, dry as usual. Sink or Bucket Method: Fill a sink or bucket with enough hot water for fabric to move freely. Add 4 capfuls of Whitener & Brightener. If using on wool, add 6 capfuls. Add 1 tablespoon of detergent. Mix well. Add unfolded fabric. Stir occasionally for 5 to 10 minutes. Carefully drain solution in sink. Using rubber gloves, rinse fabric in cool water. Dry as usual.
