Ingredients
4 large white nectarines pitted and chopped
½ cup water
¾ cup sugar
½ cup sour cream
1 cup heavy cream
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions
  1. In a medium saucepan cook the nectarines and water for about 10 minutes over medium heat. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar. Let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
  3. Using a blender or food processor, blend the nectarine mixture with the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Place the mixture in a large bowl and chill for at least 2 hours.
  5. Transfer this mixture into your ice cream machine or alternatively freeze the mixture and use a blender.
