Preparation & Usage
How to prepare Makes About 8 Servings Preparation Time: About 10 Minutes Bake Time: 40 Minutes 2 eggs 3 tbsps vegetable oil 1 tbsp margarine or butter,* softened *If butter is used, this cake is not pareve. 1 tbsp boiling water mixing bowl and mixer Directions Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease enclosed baking pan. Mix Empty large pouch of mix into mixing bowl. Add eggs and oil. Beat on medium speed for 4 minutes or 600 strokes by hand. Spread batter evenly in the baking pan. Bake Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan on rack for 15 minutes. Frosting Prep Empty small bag of frosting mix into small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon margarine or butter and mix. Gradually add 1 tablespoon boiling water until desired spreading consistency is reached. Stir until smooth and spread on completely cooled brownies. Cut into squares and serve. Also Try: Chocolate Nut Crisps Blend cake mix, 1 large egg, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of water on medium speed for 4 minutes. Add 1/2 cup nuts, chopped and mix until evenly distributed. Drop batter on greased cookie sheet using a teaspoon (about 2" apart). Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen crisps.
