Preparation & Usage
How to prepare Makes About 6 Servings Preparation Time: 10 Minutes Bake Time: 35-40 Minutes 2 large eggs 1/2 cup cold water 3 tbsps vegetable oil 1 tbsp margarine or butter,* softened *If butter is used, this cake is not pareve. 1 tbsp boiling water Mixing bowl and mixer Directions Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease enclosed baking pan. Mix Empty large bag of mix into mixing bowl. Add 1/2 cup cold water, eggs, and 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Beat on medium speed for 4 minutes. Spread batter evenly in greased pan. Bake Bake at 350°F for 50-52 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack for 15 minutes. Frosting Prep Remove cake from pan and cool thoroughly on rack before frosting. Empty small bag of frosting mix into small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon margarine or butter and mix. Gradually add 1 tablespoon boiling water until desired spreading consistency is reached. Stir until smooth and spread on completely cooled cake.
