Preparation & Usage

• It's important to select the proper size & type of chew for your puppy's age, weight & chewing strength. Non-edible chews should be large enough to encourage chewing from the side rather than top and bottom. If you have more than one dog or puppy in your household, select chews appropriate for the largest, strongest chewer. Not intended for powerful chewers or puppies with any adult teeth. On average, puppies fully transition to adult teeth from six to eight months of age, depending on breed and size. Powerful chewers may need Nylabone® Power Chew toys. • Always supervise your puppy to ensure he/she cannot bite off large pieces; some young puppies are powerful chewers even with their puppy teeth and may need a durable Nylabone® Power Chew toy. • Product is not intended to be eaten or ingested. During normal chewing, small bristle-like projections will be raised, which help clean teeth. If you think your puppy swallowed a large piece, take the product away and contact your veterinarian. • Inspect before giving to your puppy to make sure it's whole and intact. Check frequently & replace it damaged, ends are warn down, or if it becomes too small to chew safely. • Hand wash with warm soapy water & rinse thoroughly.
