Preparation & Usage

How to Prepare Sort and Rinse the Lentils. Place in a Large Pot. Add 2.5 to 3 Cups of Water for Each Cup (1/2 Lb) of Lentils. (if Extra Softness Is Desired, Soak for an Hour). Season to Taste, Heat to Boiling, Reduce the Heat, Cover and Simmer for 40 Minutes or Until Desired Tenderness.
