Preparation & Usage

Multiple Mounting Options Retractable Legs - Retractable legs for use on a tabletop, the ground, or any flat surface. Keyhole for Mounting - Use the keyhole on the back to mount on a nail or screw on a wall, or fence. Loops for Hanging - Use the loops to get creative, hang it on a tree branch, use a piece of rope or even a zip tie. Step 1: Provide Power Your Portal Smart Target can be powered by direct USB connection or 4 AA batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the target and remove the battery door screw using a phillips screwdriver. Continue opening the battery compartment door using the thumb clip and install 4 AA batteries as shown in the diagram below. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw using a phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. Battery Tips: • When this product stops working or works erratically, it's time to replace the batteries! • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix different types of batteries: Alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). • Remove the batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from this toy. Battery leakage and corrosion can cause damage. Dispose of batteries safely. • Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak. • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
