Linguine and Clams

Ingredients
1/2 package Bowl & Basket Specialty linguine
2 tbs Bowl & Basket butter, melted
1 tbs Bowl & Basket olive oil
1 shallot, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb littleneck clams, washed
1 cup Bowl & Basket heavy cream
2 tbs chopped fresh basil
Directions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shallots and cook, stirring constantly, until tender.
  4. Add garlic and clams, stirring well.
  5. Add whipping cream and cook, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated and clams open (discard any clams that do not open).
  6. Top with basil and cook for 1 minute more. Serve over pasta.
