Preparation: In refrigerator, soak 12 oz. (340g) of salted fish in 6 cups (1.5 liters) of fresh water for 8 hours, changing the water three times. Longer soaking or more frequent changing of water will further decrease the salt content. Cook according to your favorite recipe.
