Linguine and Clams

Ingredients
1/2 package Bowl & Basket Specialty linguine
2 tbs Bowl & Basket butter, melted
1 tbs Bowl & Basket olive oil
1 shallot, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb littleneck clams, washed
1 cup Bowl & Basket heavy cream
2 tbs chopped fresh basil
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well and set aside.
- Meanwhile, heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shallots and cook, stirring constantly, until tender.
- Add garlic and clams, stirring well.
- Add whipping cream and cook, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated and clams open (discard any clams that do not open).
- Top with basil and cook for 1 minute more. Serve over pasta.
