Use for Baking, Cleaning & Deodorizing Use Bowl & Basket Baking Soda in baking and throughout your home for cleaning and freshening. Kitchen & bathroom 1. Sprinkle a small amount of baking soda on wet sponge or cloth. Wipe to remove dirt, grease and soap scum. Rinse well. Use on sinks, counters, tile, bathroom fixtures, tub, shower, toilets, kitchen appliances and more. 2. Add 3 tablespoons baking soda to 1 quart hot water. Use to clean dishes, pots and pans, insulated containers and other kitchen utensils. 3. Remove top of box and place in refrigerator or freezer to absorb odors. Change box frequently and pour contents of used box down sink drain to keep it fresh smelling. Laundry 1. Add ¹/₂ cup baking soda along with usual amount of liquid detergent. Boosts detergent's cleaning power while neutralizing odors. 2. To activate liquid chlorine bleach, add ¹/₃ cup baking soda (¹/₄ Cup for front loading washers) along with the usual amount of detergent. Several minutes into the wash cycle, carefully add half the usual amount of liquid chlorine bleach. Bath Add 1 cup baking soda to warm bath water to refresh and clean your skin. Smoothen minor skin irritations and leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth and clean.
