OTC (Over-the-counter) benefit cards are health insurance-funded benefits that allow participating customers a pre-determined amount of dollars to spend towards specific fresh foods, over-the-counter, and wellness items. You can use your benefit card to pay for eligible items in our stores.* Please check with your healthcare provider to see if you qualify for an OTC benefit card. This program is currently only accepted in retail store locations.

+What can I buy with my OTC card?

Typically, you can use your OTC card to purchase a variety of health-related items, including over-the-counter medications, first aid supplies, and personal care products along with eligible food items.

Each health care provider offers a different selection of covered items depending on their OTC benefit plan. Please check with your health care provider to determine which items are covered under your unique plan.
+How do I use my OTC card at checkout?
When ready to checkout, swipe your OTC card on the PIN pad to validate any OTC covered items. The system will automatically deduct approved purchases from your OTC card balance. The remaining balance of your transaction (if any) can then be paid with any other accepted form of payment.
+ What is the refund process when using an OTC card?
We want all customers to be satisfied with their purchases. If for some reason you would like to return a product purchased using your OTC benefit card, you can bring it to the store with the original, paper or digital receipt for a full refund or exchange in accordance with our refund policy. Please note that refunds to OTC cards are limited to transactions that only included OTC eligible items at the time of purchase.
+ Can I use my OTC card with eWIC or SNAP benefits at checkout?
Yes, you can use your OTC card with eWIC/SNAP benefits. Your cashier will scan your eWIC/SNAP items and process those before accepting your OTC card and processing it as normal. Your cashier will be happy to guide you through the process.
