Family History
Although his father was in the grocery industry for more than 25 years, Jon Greenfield had his sights set on law school. When his father passed, Jon and his brother, Stephen, took over the family business – a decision he has never regretted. The family, including their sister Jill and Jon’s son Seth, joined Wakefern in 1997 and today run two successful ShopRites, in Plainview and Morton Village on Long Island, New York. The family also owns other stores around New York.
