Wakefern Online Shopping Subscription Terms & Conditions
Subscription benefits are limited to ShopRite stores located in Connecticut that offer the “ShopRite from Home” program. For a full list of participating stores, please visit our Store Locator and filter for Connecticut stores that offer Online Grocery Pickup.
The Wakefern subscription service (the “Subscription”) is offered by Wakefern Food Corp. (“Wakefern”). The service fee charged on pickup orders of $50 or more (as calculated before tax and after application of any allowed coupons and discounts) will be waived for Subscribers for a period of 90 days from the date you sign up for the Subscription. The one-time sign-up fee for the Subscription is $35 plus applicable taxes. The Subscription is only applicable for online orders fulfilled at Connecticut ShopRite stores that offer the Shoprite from Home program. The sign-up period for the Subscription is February 14, 2021 to May 15, 2021. All sales of the Subscription are final and refunds will not be provided. Subscriber Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a Subscription, you agree to be bound by the Terms. Wakefern reserves the right to disqualify Subscribers who violate any of these Terms.

Subscription Eligibility and Restrictions
The Subscription is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States or D.C. who are at least 13 years old upon purchase. Subscription benefits are only available for orders at Connecticut ShopRite stores that offer the ShopRite from Home program. Please see below for additional information regarding Subscription availability and limitations. The Subscription is limited to individuals only.
Subscription benefits or Subscriber accounts may not be merged, transferred, purchased, sold, assigned, auctioned or traded, including by death or as part of a domestic relations matter. Subscription benefits have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash or any other benefits or services.
To subscribe, you must have an existing ShopRite account or create a new ShopRite account upon purchase of the Subscription. You must also agree to the ShopRite from Home Services & Policies to create an account. You can purchase the Subscription online by selecting the Subscription during the checkout process. Subscriptions must be purchased at the time of placing an online order. Gift subscriptions are unavailable at this time. Unless otherwise specified by Wakefern, you must pay a one-time fee of $35 plus applicable taxes to become a Subscriber. You may be required to provide your name, address, phone number, email address and additional enrollment information when creating a shoprite.com account and signing up for the Subscription.
Wakefern reserves the right to refuse a Subscription to any customer who does not follow the enrollment procedures. Wakefern may choose to offer signup incentives and enrollment promotions from time to time, including discounted prices. All sales of the Subscription are FINAL and the Subscription is non-refundable. If you cancel your Subscription at any time, you will lose all access to the benefits of the Subscription.
You should promptly advise Wakefern of any changes to your personal account contact information, such as name, address, phone number(s) and/or e-mail address, by updating your ShopRite account.
Your Subscription will terminate 90 days from purchase and will not automatically renew. Subscriptions may not be paused or placed on “hold.”
Subscribers will not be charged a pickup service fee for grocery pick-up orders of $50 or more (as calculated before tax and after application of any allowed coupons and discounts) at participating stores. The cost of prescriptions and any gift cards purchased does not count towards the $50 total. Wakefern reserves the right to vary, substitute, or alter Subscription benefits at any time. The Subscription applies only to pick-up of online orders and does not waive any fees associated with delivery orders. Pick-up times are subject to availability. By purchasing a Subscription, you agree to accept and receive marketing communications from Wakefern, including via email (unless you opt-out). You understand and agree that you may receive communications regarding your orders, Subscriber promotions, offers, and more. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of receiving such communications at any time through your ShopRite account. Wakefern will also use these channels to notify you when you are eligible for a benefit, communicate Subscription changes, and more, at Wakefern’s discretion. Please note that even if you opt out of receiving marketing or promotional communications, Wakefern may continue to send you non-marketing or non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
Wakefern’s Right to Revoke
Wakefern reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to exclude any individual(s) from the Subscription or to terminate any Subscription, for any reason, including abuse of the Subscription, failure to follow these Terms, or fraud, misrepresentation or other conduct detrimental to the interests of Wakefern. Any such exclusion or termination may affect eligibility for further participation in the Subscription and/or any other Wakefern programs.
Wakefern’s Right to Change/Cancel Subscription and/or Terms
Wakefern reserves the right to change or modify these Terms or terminate the Subscription at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Wakefern will post any additional Subscription details and updates to the Subscription (including these Terms) here and may also email you about any such changes.
You will indemnify and hold harmless Wakefern, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all liability, losses, claims, demands, disputes, damages, and costs of any kind, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs of litigation resulting from or in any way connected to these Terms and Subscribers’ participation in the Subscription.
All Subscription design, text, graphics, logos, images, titles, phrases and product names and the copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade dress and/or other intellectual property in such materials (collectively, “Wakefern Intellectual Property”) are owned by Wakefern and may be registered in the United States and/or internationally.
Any action based on a breach of any provision of these Terms will be brought to the federal or local courts presiding in New Jersey, United States, whichever is appropriate, and to whose jurisdiction you consent in such an action. If a breach is found by the court, the court will have the right to issue an injunction, and grant to Wakefern its damages and attorneys’ fees and such other and further relief as the court may deem appropriate.
Applicable Laws and Jurisdictional Issues
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, including federal copyright and trademark laws, and the laws of the State of New Jersey applicable to contracts entered into and to be wholly performed therein without regard to conflict of laws or choice of law principles. By purchasing the Subscription, you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts presiding in New Jersey and you agree to accept service of process by mail. You hereby waive any and all jurisdictional and venue defenses that might otherwise be available.
Invalidity of Provisions; Entire Agreement
