ShopRite “Enjoy a Movie on Us” SWEEPSTAKES January 2008 OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING 1. HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins on January 1, 2008 and ends on January 31, 2008. When you use register for ShopRite Kids Club and purchase any participating kids club items at a participating ShopRite® store in CT, DE, NY, NJ or PA with your ShopRite® PricePlus club® card you will automatically receive one entry into the sweepstakes. Alternatively, you may enter the sweepstakes without a purchase by sending a 3”x 5” piece of paper including your name, address, age and daytime phone number and mail in an envelope with sufficient postage affixed to: ShopRite “Enjoy a Movie on Us” Sweepstakes, PE 220, 505 Division Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07207. Purchase entries must be made during the same transaction from 12:01 a.m. (ET) on 1/1/2008 to 11:59 p.m. (ET) on 1/31/2008. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by 1/31/2008 and received by 2/5/2008. Limit one purchase entry per transaction and limit one entry mail-in entry per outer stamped envelope. “Sponsor” not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, damaged, postage due or mutilated mail. No mechanically reproduced, altered, forged, or facsimile entries will be accepted. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of entrant, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the shopper card at the time of entry provided that person meets that eligibility criteria set forth in these Official Rules. “Authorized Account Holder” means the natural person who is assigned to the shopper card by the participating retailer(s), and/or other organization that is responsible for assigning shopper cards. All entries become the property of Sponsor and none will be returned. 2. RANDOM DRAWING: Winners will be drawn on or about February 5, 2008 from among all valid entries received by an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final. Winners will be notified by phone and/or mail at Sponsor’s discretion. Odds of winning depend on number of valid entries received. Limit one prize per person, per household. 3. PRIZE: (100) Grand Prize winners will receive a Family 4 pack of movie tickets (to be awarded in the form of Movie Cash certificates). Approximate retail value $4,420.00. Prize consists of only the item specifically listed as the prize. 4. GENERAL RULES: Open only to legal residents of the following states age 18 or older as of their date of entry: Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Employees of Wakefern Food Corporation, ShopRite, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, participating retailers, advertising and promotion agencies, web site providers and the immediate family members (parents, siblings, children and/or those living in the same household of each) are not eligible to win. Sponsor reserves the right to verify to its satisfaction the eligibility of any entrant. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this sweepstakes, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes. If, in the Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the promotion, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all non-suspect entries received as of the date of termination. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning online entrant, entries made by internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. 5. WINNERS’ LIST: For the names of the winner, available after January 31, 2008, send a self-addressed, stamped (#10) envelope to: Tune into ShopRite Sweepstakes Winners – PE 220, 505 Division Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07207.
